Web & App Development

Websites and web apps, built and shipped properly

We design and build custom websites and web apps for businesses: marketing sites, portfolios, booking and sign-up flows, dashboards, marketplaces and tools your customers use. The team that scopes your project writes the code, tests it, deploys it and keeps it running.

What we build

  • Business websites that load fast, work well on phones and are easy for Google to read.
  • Portfolio and gallery sites with search, filters and an easy way to add new work.
  • Web apps and customer tools, such as estimates, bookings, sign-ups and account pages.
  • Dashboards and marketplaces with maps, live data and logins.

How we build it

We agree on what the first version has to do, then build it in small steps you can try along the way. We test each site on phones and desktops, deploy it with HTTPS, and set up the basics search engines look for: a clear title and description on every page, a sitemap and structured data.

Examples of our work

Room Designer 3D. Our own web app for remodelers. The contractor designs a bathroom in 3D with the customer, trying tile and finishes together, and the design becomes an estimate built on the contractor's own labor rates, with a PDF the customer can take home.

Studio McKenna. A portfolio site for an independent artist, with a searchable, filterable gallery. Uploads from phones kept failing on the site's low-power host, so we added in-browser image compression that shrinks large phone photos before they're sent.

ParkLess. A peer-to-peer marketplace for daily parking, in beta. Property owners list open spots, and drivers find and book them nearby on a live, custom-themed map. It's built on Next.js and deployed on Vercel.

Questions people ask

How long does it take to build a website?

It depends on what the site has to do. A simple business site takes far less time than an app with logins and payments. After a short call, we'll give you a timeline for your project before any work starts.

How much does a website cost?

The price depends on the scope, so we quote each project once we understand it. Tell us your budget range when you get in touch, and we'll tell you straight what fits in it.

Will my site show up on Google?

We build every site so search engines can read it: fast pages, a clear title and description on each page, a sitemap and structured data. Ranking also depends on things outside the site, such as your Google Business Profile, reviews and links from other sites, and nobody can honestly guarantee the top spot.

Can you take over or fix an existing site?

Yes. Tell us what's wrong and what it's built with, and we'll tell you whether it's better to fix it or rebuild it.

How do I get started?

Describe what you want built on our Start a project page. You'll get an outline of a first version on the page, and you can book a 30-minute call to talk it through.
